Accessible Public Spaces

Our hotels are designed to provide accessible entry and movement throughout common areas. This includes step-free access where available, elevators connecting all floors, and reception areas designed to accommodate different needs. Public spaces are planned to support ease of movement and a straightforward guest experience.

Accessible Guest Room Features

Guest rooms are designed with functionality in mind, offering layouts that support accessibility and ease of use. Features may include wider doorways, accessible controls, and bathrooms equipped with support elements such as grab bars and adapted fixtures. The goal is to provide a stay that feels comfortable and practical without unnecessary complexity.

Website Accessibility

The Unika Hotels website is designed to be compatible with commonly used browsers and assistive technologies, including screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver. It is built using standard technologies including HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, and JavaScript, with the goal of meeting WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines. Improvements are ongoing to enhance usability across devices and user needs.

Limitations and Ongoing Improvements

While accessibility is a priority, some third-party tools, such as booking engines or external integrations, may have varying levels of compliance. Unika Hotels continues to review and improve these elements where possible as part of an ongoing process.
